The Police Department is involved in numerous programs to enhance the services provided to our community. We hope these services improve our citizens' standard of living and make our community a better and safer place to live.

Crime Prevention
The crime prevention programs such as the Citizen's Police Academy are designed to enhance community security, heighten the citizens' power of observation and to encourage mutual assistance and concern among neighbors.

Officer Districts
The Patrol/Traffic Division is assigned to an Officer District Program, where each officer is assigned a geographical area of the City as their district.

Resident Identification Program
The Resident Identification Program exists to provide service in the event that an individual is located but unable to provide police with their name, address, etc.

School Resource Officer
The Police Department deploys a School Resource Officer (SRO) in cooperation with the Burrell School District to provide a variety of presentations and more.

Traffic Enforcement
The Traffic Enforcement Division is dedicated to keeping the City of Lower Burrell roadways safe and free of drivers who put lives at risk by the way they drive.
