Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) is typically comprised of unused household products that may explode, catch fire, or be generally harmful to the environment if not properly disposed. Some examples of HHW are paint, pesticides, pool chemicals, drain cleaners, batteries, and motor oil. If you are a resident of the City of Lower Burrell you can join us on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM to recycle these items. Noble Environmental will be here collecting Electronic Waste and Household Hazardous Waste. Please sign up at the Noble Environmental Website to reserve your collection time. In order to meet COVID restrictions, you must pre-register for this event. Please see the flyer for our event!

Costs are the responsibility of each resident on the day of the collection event. Payment totals will be based on the following rates:

Non-Video Display Electronics $.30 per pound

Freon Containing Devices $.40 per pound

Televisions and Monitors $.50 per pound

Waste Paint $1.10 per pound

Universal Wastes (bulbs, batteries, etc.) $1.30 per pound

Household Hazardous Waste $1.50 per pound

Propane Cylinders $10.00 per unit
